Start at the arete to the right of the pillar with Allez, à la Niche!, traverse to the right on three faces to the complete rest in the niche and exit on the pillar.
From Les Thanatonautes continue east along the Route des Gorges de Franchard. At about 150m take the first small path on the left, the boulder is on the right along the latter, about 100m further.
